Dec 14+15. Solot – här är vi nu / Katarina Eriksson and Per Sacklén

Solot – här är vi nu is an experimental collaboration between two of Sweden's most acknowledged dancers – Katarina Eriksson and Per Sacklén. It takes the shape of a solo evolving through a relay of handed down material to the other to proceed with, new traces and experiences for the other to process in an ongoing work that changes along the way.

The solo, being danced by both, allows their archives of experiences as dance artists and humans to become visible. The work has emerged from a necessity that is related to what their both private and professional situations look like; they live together in a large family and have free-lanced in the dance field for more than two decades. In Solot – här är vi nu, they work on defining and rephrase what a dance can be right now, what happens in the transmission to the other and if they can reach a common understanding.
